Hey. Me and my lady watch X Factor, and we think it's brill! Stargate, incase you haven't found out yet, it was Chenai who left on Saturday just gone! And I can't wait to see what happens tomorrow! I think Brenda is really good, and Journey South. I also think Andy is good... but musically, he's a bit too cheesy for my liking! Also, is it just us, or is Louis Walsh a right idiot?! Me and the mrs both think he looks a bit of a pervert. And he has no knowledge of what's good for the group he's mentoring! All these old songs he keeps picking... what a waste of some decent young talent! He needs to shape his act up a bit!

jerney south are a good group. i think they will go along way anyway even if they don't win! although saying that look how long steve lasted from last year? brenda never apealed to me. i'm sorry that chani had to go! i think it should have been chico. he's just crazy!

What a fix! Louis is a biased idiot! It's obviously not about talent anymore, so what's the point?! And there's an uproar as The Conway's are pals of Louis' anyway, and they've already toured with Westlife! Who can take anything that bloke says seriously anymore! Hmmmmm, what a fool! I've lost all respect I ever had for the man!

well, whether Louis Walsh was biased or not isn't really of consequence! Everyone is crying that it was a fix, that Maria is the greatest talent in the show etc etc, but fact remains, the public vote didn't think so! she was in the bottom two, and for all we know, might have got the least amount of votes! Personally I didn't think she sang very well at all on Saturday, and I actually think she deserved to go. And let's face it, Louis Walsh can't win either way, if he'd sent the conway sisters home, it would have been said that he'd done it so that he could stick two fingers up at Simon Cowell.
I see your point. But that said, one could argue that although the public put Maria in the bottom two, it is the judges responsibility to ensure proper talent goes through. And if Louis picked the Conways to stay because he knew them and because of their nationality, then that is crap! Let's face it, Simon was in a tough position the week previous when he had to choose between Chenai and Nicholas, and he picked Nicholas to stay, as although Chenai did the better performance on the night, Nicholas had the better prospects. And the same could be said for Maria and the Conways on Saturday. I agree that Maria wasn't great on Saturday, and the Conways did blow me away with their performance, but there's no doubt that Maria has far better prospects! So if Louis had applied the same logic, then there would not be such uproar! Also, when Maria was interviewed on this morning on Monday, she said that Louis appologised before she even gave her second performance. The man is a biased arsehole. No doubt about it! I although they are good, I just don't think there's a niche in the market for another version of the Corrs, or an older version of Bewitched! I'm still plumping for Journey South of Brenda to win though!

let's not forget though that the conways have been in the bottom two three weeks running, I think their ship had sailed. I agree that Chiko is untalented, but like it or not, however far he gets into this competition, he will get a record deal, and he will make a number 1 single, that's the nature of the record buying public in this country.
One other thing, poor hard done by maria who went out two weeks ago? well .. this week it was revealed that poor hard done by maria actually has a £12000000 property portfolio in London, it's not exactly the "dragged out of the gutter into stardom" reality that the show likes to portray.

Maria did have a very good singing voice and did deserve to win. the only reason the conway sisters lasted as long as they did, was due to lui being Irish and the loyalty thing. i did really like them, well i wanted them to win until they went completely off the rails and just got really bad. i just hope Journey South win now.
The public obviously didn't think Maria deserved to win though, she was in the bottom 2 that week, and that's what people seem to lose sight of. Louis might have voted her off, but she still had one of the lowest numbers of votes that week. One of the favourites to win now is Shane, reality is, he's got the best chance of a career at the end of it, like it or not, the likes of brenda, andy, chiko even are too old, and even if they do make an album, they're likely to be one hit wonders. the record buying public are between the ages of 12-18, and they will go for the likes of Shane.
All will become apparent this week though, because the judges no longer have a say - it's all down to the public vote.

Well Shane is favourite to win. personally though I'll vote for journey south, although think they'll get somewhere even if they don't win.
